The Dakota Association for College Admission Counseling is a two-state, non-profit corporation whose membership includes colleges, college admission officers and high school counselors from North Dakota and South Dakota. It hosts an annual conference and the two state councils sponsor a variety of activities to assist students and counselors within the states, including South Dakota College Fairs, North Dakota College Fairs, workshops and publications aimed at furthering the organization's goals. For further information on the state programs, one can go to the pages for either the North Dakota or South Dakota council. An updated list of 2008-09 South Dakota high school counselor contacts, visitation policies and school holidays can be downloaded. A directory of South Dakota High School Counselors is also available. And, Fall, 2008, enrollment numbers for the SD High Schools are also available. South Dakota High School Counselors: The presentations used during the 2008 SD HS Counselors Workshops are available. Dakota ACAC is a regionally chartered affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
