
The Dakota Association for College Admission Counseling is a
two-state, non-profit corporation whose membership includes colleges, college
admission officers and high school counselors from North Dakota and South Dakota. It
hosts an annual conference and the two state councils sponsor a variety of
activities to assist students and counselors within the states. Primary projects
include:
South Dakota College Fairs
North Dakota College Fairs
Other state activities include workshops and publications aimed at
furthering the organization's goals. For further information on the state

Five-State Professional Development
Admission Counseling Institute:
A program for new
(or almost new) college admissions representatives. Set for August 10-11 at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. Registration has been extended
through August 5.
Fall
Counselor Workshops: The South Dakota Council will coordinate its
annual series of workshops for school counselors in early September.
Dakota ACAC is a regionally chartered affiliate of the
National Association
for College Admission Counseling.
